A very timely assignment hit my desk from AD Jennifer Berney for American Educator magazine. The feature was methods for teachers to quickly identity and stop bullying behavior in the classroom at the beginning. The editors wanted to make sure I caught the dynamics of bullying without demonizing the bully since part of teaching is also altering the behavior of the bully. I approached it from a more instructional point of view which seemed the right feel for this feature. It’s always a pleasure to work with one of my oldest clients.
