Corinne Myller is one of my favorite AD’s at the New York Times and she called with a great interactive project about the judicial maze a person navigates if they have committed a minor crime. The feature is presented as an interactive quiz which takes you through your options based on various factors and it’s an eye opening experience to how the justice system works. One of the editors had a great metaphor that the system is like Charlie Chaplin’s movie, “Modern Times” which became the inspiration for the illustration series. Interactive seems to be the brave new world for presenting information. I’m a fan.
Below: spots for the feature. Not all spots were used but it made for a great series.
