Charles and Ray: Designers at Play
Charles was an architect. Ray was a painter. Together they made the perfect team. By using structure, shape, and color, they knew they could transform anything. And because they saw problem-solving as an adventure, they were able to incorporate playfulness into everything they designed.
Charles and Ray: Designers at Play is the follow up to A Boy Named Isamu and I couldn’t be more excited. Charles and Ray: Designers at Play has a fun and energetic vibe which is a nice contrast to the quieter and contemplative tone of A Boy Named Isamu. Being a fan of Mid Dentury design, it’s been a dream come true to create back to back books about my artistic and design heroes.
